Probably a mech that symbolize my progress so far, all of them done around September, so there's almost exactly one year gap between each design. Thanks for my friends who helps me to develop, but still got more to learn especially inking
hmmm I wish to see your ADVENT SPIRT 2009 as a mixed between the (normal mode)2006 and (high speed mode) 2008 design.. I notice how much you change into straight lines in your designing by time to time and to be true I loved the 2007 design how it looks strong and buffed
Thanks, basically Spirits is made for all terrain combat include underwater that's why 2006 version has more curvy design to be more hydrodynamics, but from 2007 i'm using sharp pointy design to replace curvy design, however none of previous designs can actually provide good ground combat performance, so for 2009 version i decide to separate Spirits into 2 form, Spirits Hresvelgr and Fenrir, Hresvlegr is Spirits with its old backpack suited for aerial, underwater & space combat, while Fenrir form specially suited for Ground combat or area with limited space
nope, they aren't, the Japanese will kill me if i say they are gundams. And about the concept, i have a habit to draw without using reference, it looks chaotic at the beginning but it helps to me develop my own mecha style and to build my own design perceptions about mecha, then i train my posture and proportion
